African Extracts Rooibos uses an advanced Bio-Active Rooibos plant extract from fresh, green rooibos plants harvested in the Cederberg mountains of the Western Cape. Used for millennia by South Africa’s first inhabitants, Rooibos is rich in minerals and antioxidants, including aspalathin and nothofagin, which act against free radicals. Rooibos is known for its anti-inflammatory, skin-soothing and protective properties. All our products also contain other natural plant actives proven for their skin-care benefits – in line with our promise of “skin care inspired by nature”.
