African Extracts ROOIBOS (NZ) Proudly Supports project-based child and community programs run by the Great Commission United (GCU) Academy in Heideveld (near Capetown) who engage children through sports and other programs, to COACH and REFORM them away from a hopeless life of drugs and alcohol abuse, crime and gang activity.


Heideveld communities are ravaged by vast unemployment and poverty and is often referred to as ‘gang land’.  GCU programs fill the deficits in the physical, mental, emotional and educational facets of children’s lives for a better future.


Every purchase of African Extracts ROOIBOS supports GCU programs including: boys and girls soccer teams, school feeding schemes, free GCU child day-care for safety and educational activities, basic adult education & training and even one of the very few primary schools in Heideveld.
